Portugal could be something of an outsider at the World Cup in North America this summer.

Roberto Martinez has a hugely talented squad at his disposal, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Bernardo Silva, Pedro Neto and Vitinha among those likely to impress.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also in line to feature at his sixth World Cup, although it remains to be seen whether the Al-Nassr star will lead the line for his country in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

Away from the action, however, it is emerging that another member of Martinez’s squad is attracting interest from two of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.

As reported by CaughtOffside, both Arsenal and Manchester United have been made aware that AC Milan winger Rafael Leao could be available this summer.

The report suggests that the Portugal winger is intent on leaving Milan this summer, with the player likely to cost around £52 million.

Both the Gunners and the Red Devils are said to be keeping tabs on the player’s situation, although neither side currently view him as a top target for this summer’s transfer window.

Leao, 26, has played 291 times for Milan since joining from French side Lille back in 2019, scoring 80 goals and registering 65 assists.

The Portuguese is said to be keen to embark on a new challenge, though, and the report suggests that his current side could be willing to sell for the right price.

While the Serie A outfit would prefer to keep hold of the attacker, it is claimed that Milan could even be willing to accept an offer closer to £44 million if certain add-ons and bonuses were included.

Leao’s current contract in Italy is set to expire at the end of the 2027/28 campaign.
