Arsenal and Manchester United are both reportedly lining up January moves for Italy defender Daniele Rugani.

The Premier League rivals, who sit fourth and second in the current standings respectively, have been scouting the Juventus defender for the majority of the 2015-16 campaign.

However the 21-year-old, who is yet to make his senior international debut, has played just two minutes of first-team football for the Serie A champions this season, featuring in Juve’s 2-0 Champions League victory over Sevilla back in September.

Highly-rated in Turin; Rugani played a starring role in helping fellow Italian outfit Empoli stave off relegation during an impressive loan spell with the club last term, but his first-team opportunities at Juventus this campaign are severely restricted behind the likes of experienced trio Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli.
