Manchester City and Arsenal look set to miss out on AS Roma winger Cengiz Ünder, according to Calciomercato.

The 21-year-old is one of Europe’s most sought after young talents after impressing for the Italian club since his move from İstanbul Başakşehir in 2016.

Pep Guardiola’s Premier League champions and Unai Emery’s Gunners were thought to be tracking the Turkey international, along with Bayern Munich.

However, the Serie A club are set to offer him an improved contract before January to ward off any potential bids.

Ünder has scored 10 times in 40 appearances for the side that reached the last-four of the Champions League last term.
