Tottenham Hotspur will hope to kickstart their season with victory over Newcastle United on Saturday afternoon.

Ange Postecoglou’s side have endured a disappointing season so far, winning just seven of their 19 Premier League games.

The Lilywhtes currently occupy 11th place in the top flight table, and Postecoglou will be desperate to see his side improve in the coming weeks.

The Magpies have been in fine form, though, and will undoubtedly provide a stern test for Spurs in North London on Saturday.

In the meantime, it appears that Tottenham are battling it out with a fierce rival for the signing of a Bundesliga star.

As per CaughtOffside, both North London clubs are interested in signing Stuttgart midfielder Enzo Millot.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form for the German side this season, scoring eight times and registering five assists in 24 matches across all competitions.

Millot has attracted interest from both Tottenham and Arsenal

Both Arsenal and Spurs are said to have scouted the Frenchman this season and have been impressed by his performances.

Millot joined Stuttgart from French side Monaco in 2021 and has since played 94 times for the club across all competitions.

He is under contract with the German outfit until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, but Stuttgart could face a battle to keep hold of their player beyond this year.

The Frenchman’s versatility will likely appeal to Tottenham and the Gunners, as he is able to play in a number of positions including as a central midfielder, attacking midfielder, or on the flank.

Fellow Premier League sides Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are also all believed to be keeping tabs on the France Under-23 player’s situation.

It remains unclear whether or not Stuttgart would be willing to sell the player this month.
