Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot has asked to leave the Ligue 1 champions on loan in January.
The France Under-21 international has grown increasingly firsytrated with his lack of game time at the Parc des Princes having started just 10 of the club’s 21 matches this term.
And in an interview with Telefoot, PSG’s number 25 revealed that he’s asked president Nasser Al-Khelaifi for a temporary move when the window opens.
He said: “I’ve asked the president for a loan move in January if my time on the field is insufficient.”
This will alert North London duo Arsenal and Tottenham, who are keen admirers of the 20-year-old and have both been heavily linked with a swoop in the past.
It is thought the Gunners are now the keener of the two, and with injuries to the likes of Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky, it makes sense for Arsene Wenger to make a move.
