Arsenal are willing to back manager Arsene Wenger with a £150 million transfer kitty this summer, with Carlos Bacca, Riyad Mahrez, and Thomas Lemar on the wish-list, according to The Daily Mirror.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the Frenchman’s future rumbling on for much of the campaign, the North London outfit are expected to confirm a new two-year deal for the 67-year-old, despite failing to finish in the Premier League’s top four for the first time since he took over back in 1996.

And the Gunners hierarchy are seeking to back Wenger with a huge transfer kitty this summer, so he can attempt to land Colombia’s Bacca, Leicester’s former PFA Player of the Year Mahrez, and Monaco sensation Lemar.

30-year-old striker Bacca has enjoyed a fine season in Italy with AC Milan, netting 13 goals and laying on three assists in just 32 Serie A appearances for the club to help them to a sixth place finish in the Italian top-flight, and he is thought to be on Wenger’s radar as he looks to bolster his own attacking options.

And Leicester winger Mahrez yesterday confirmed that he was seeking a move away from the King Power Stadium this summer, and given the Gunners were one club linked with him last summer after his exceptional top-flight campaign for the Foxes, they are expected to show an interest once again.

While 21-year-old Lemar played his part in one of the most exciting teams in Europe this term, with the France international scoring nine goals and laying on ten assists in just 34 Ligue 1 matches for Monaco, helping them win the title by eight points of big-spending Paris Saint-Germain.

And with left-back Sead Kolasinac already set to join Arsenal this summer, the board are clearly willing to back Wenger as they look to build upon this season’s FA Cup success to get back into the Champions League, and indeed challenge for the Premier League title.
