Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta urged by fans to bring Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele ‘home’, according to the Express

The France international has endured a tough time since his arrival at the Catalan club, having been plagued with injuries throughout his time.

This campaign has been no different, with the winger restricted to just nine appearances due to a persistent hamstring problem.

Arteta wants to add to his Arsenal squad in the summer.

Due to Dembele’s injury woes, the 22-year-old has not been named in the Barcelona squad for when football returns in La Liga and therefore will not be registered to play.

Arsenal fans on social media are now using this as an opportunity to urge their manager to sign the player.

They said:

“We should save him and loan him to Arsenal,” said one supporter on Twitter.

Another posted: “It’s time to come home Dembouz.”

“The carpet awaits you bro. Come to Arsenal,” said a third.

One more wrote: “Loan with obligation fc get your guy.”

A fifth said: “Needs to join Arsenal.”
