Arsenal face Portuguese side Sporting CP in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Mikel Arteta’s side ended a four-game Premier League winless run by defeating Nottingham Forest at The Emirates on Saturday, with Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey and Ethan Nwaneri all on the scoresheet.

That result kept the Gunners fourth in the top flight standings, although they do remain nine points behind runaway leaders Liverpool.

Arteta will hope to see his side pick up all three points in Lisbon on Tuesday, as his side look to secure automatic qualification for the knockout stage of the competition.

At present, Arsenal sit in 13th place in the Champions League table, although they are just two points behind Premier League rivals Aston Villa who occupy the final automatic qualification place.

Off the pitch, it appears that Arteta and those in charge of the Gunners’ recruitment are considering allowing a young star to leave.

Oulad M’Hand could leave The Emirates in January

As per GiveMeSport, the club are contemplating allowing Salah-Eddine Oulad M’Hand to leave the club in January.

The 21-year-old midfielder joined Arsenal inn 2020 but hasn’t yet made his professional debut for the Gunners.

Instead, the midfielder has spent time on loan at both Hull City and Den Bosch.

The youngster has been named on the bench for Arsenal twice this season – once in the Premier League – but the report suggests that Arteta is considering allowing the player to leave due to his lack of first team opportunities.

Oulad M’Hand is capable of playing in a number of positions across the midfield, including centrally as an attacking midfielder, or on the right flank.

He is under contract with the Gunners until the end of the current season, but it is claimed that those in charge of the club are considering allowing the player to leave in the new year.
