Arsenal are reportedly weighing up a summer raid for Armenia international Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to German magazine Sport Bild (via the Daily Star).
The Premier League outfit, who currently sit 11 points adrift of leaders Leicester City in the English top-flight and were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by FC Barcelona on Wednesday night, are thought to be monitoring the Borussia Dortmund midfielder during the latter stages of the current 2015-16 campaign.
The 27-year-old, who captains his country and has 55 international caps to his name, has scored an impressive 19 goals and provided 23 assists in 41 appearances in all competitions for the current Bundesliga runners-up so far this season.
Mkhitaryan, who arrived at Dortmund from Shakhtar Donetsk back in July 2013 for a reported £23.6m, is thought to be valued at around £22m nowadays according to the report.
The Gunners maybe watching the midfielder’s display at White Hart Lane on Thursday night should the Armenian ace feature for Dortmund against North London rivals Tottenham in the Europa League.
