Arsenal are continuting to line up a move for Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus should star forward Alexis Sanchez not commit his long term future to the club, according to reports from the Daily Mail.

The Chilean star is in the middle of a saga in north London, as the club battle to negotiate a new – reasonably priced deal.

With the former Barcelona man reportedly seeking a deal worth in excess of £200,000-a-week, the Gunners are beginning to assess their options.

Germany international Marco Reus is seemingly top of that list of options, with the powers that be at The Emirates hoping that a significant pay rise would be enough to tempt the winger away from the club where he spent ten years as a youngster, before leaving in 2006 and returning in 2012.

The injury prone forward has bagged four goals and six assists in the six games since his return from injury at the end of November.
