With the season now over, Premier League teams are turning their attention to the transfer window.

All 20 Premier League clubs are likely to be busy during the next few months, before the season starts again in August.

Arsenal will likely look to bolster Mikel Arteta’s squad after finishing second in each of the past two Premier League campaigns.

The Spaniard will be desperate to add to his options this summer, and it appears that the Gunners could land an Eredivisie star.

As per Football Insider, the North London outfit could sign Ajax star Brian Brobbey this summer.

The one-time Netherlands international has just enjoyed a fine season with Ajax, scoring 21 goals and providing 11 assists in 42 games across all competitions.

Brobbey could be on his way to Arsenal this summer

The striker’s impressive performances have attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Arsenal, and the North London side could move for him in the coming weeks.

Arsenal are said to have identified a number of possible targets as they look to bolster their attacking ranks this summer, including Benjamin Sesko, Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres.

Despite this, the report claims that Brobbey could be the most affordable and most realistic target for the Gunners this summer.

They could attempt to lure him to The Emirates, although Brobbey’s current contract isn’t set to expire until the end of the 2026/27 season and Ajax could therefore be in a commanding negotiating position.

Brobbey’s current side, Ajax, missed out on qualification for next season’s Champions League, and Arsenal could therefore use that to their advantage.

The forward is a product of the Ajax youth academy and, despite departing the Dutch side to join RB Leipzig in the summer of 2021, he returned to Amsterdam the following January on loan and then made the move permanent six months later.
