Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is reportedly ready to stay at Arsenal despite interest in him from Barcelona, according to the London Evening Standard.
It is thought that the La Liga champions see the 21-year-old as the long-term replacement for right-back Dani Alves, who looks set to leave the Camp Nou when his contract expires at the end of next season, however the Spaniard has committed his future to the Gunners.
On being in England Bellerin, who was part of Barca’s famous La Masia youth set up until the age of 16, said: “I’ve lived there for many years; my family and my girlfriend are there. I’m very happy there so I don’t see myself anywhere other than Arsenal.”
However, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will still be worried about the future of the defender, whose current contract runs until 2019, with Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas and Alex Song being tempted away to the Catalan giants in recent years.
