According to reports from Tutto Mercato Web, Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is considering a move for Borussia Dortmund stalwart, Marco Reus, should Mesut Ozil leave The Emirates.

The Gunners playmaker is reportedly set to land a huge new deal at the North London club, however, he has been linked with a move back to Spanish giants, Real Madrid, where he won a league and cup title before making the move to the Premier League.

A new contract for the World Cup winner has long been a priority for Wenger, who celebrates his 20th anniversary with the club this week, and he will be desperate to hold onto his ‘Assist King’.

Should he leave, however, Le Prof has earmarked his German compatriot as a natural replacement. The 27-year-old, despite having struggled with injuries recently, is still a world class talent and would fit into any side in the Premier League.

The Germany international, who remained with Dortmund as all others around him left for higher climbs, has scored 76 goals in 165 appearances for the Bundesliga side, whilst assisting 53 along the way.

Have your say, would Reus consider a move to The Emirates??
