Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a January bid for Dynamo Kyiv forward Andriy Yarmolenko.

The 25-year-old, who was linked with moves to Tottenham and Stoke City during the summer, has started the new season in impressive form for his club, and has scored seven goals in 12 games in all competitions, as well as providing seven assists.

That has caught the attentions of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who was widely criticised for not bringing in a forward during the summer transfer window, especially with the uncertainty over the fitness of Danny Welbeck.

Yarmolenko, who has also been known to play out wide, has 50 caps for his country, scoring 20 times.
