Arsenal have joined European giants Juventus and Bayern Munich in the chase for Swedish starlet Alexander Isak, according to reports from Calciomercato.
The 17-year-old, who has also been linked with Premier League rivals Man United and Chelsea, has already bagged 11 goals in 16 outings for Swedish side AIK this term, attracting plenty of interest from the continent.
Such is his form that parallels have already been drawn between him and former Sweden international, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, no pressure then.
As per the report, the Gunners could find themselves in a strong position come January, with Italian champions Juventus not keen on entering into a scrap for the striker as their priorities lie elsewhere.
Wenger bought in Spanish striker Lucas Perez in the summer, however, after an underwhelming start to life at The Emirates – coupled with an unfortunate injury layoff – the Frenchman could be considering adding to that department in the winter window.
The teenager is yet to make his international bow, although he was handed his debut for the Sweden U21’s in October, coming off the bench in a 3-0 win over Estonia.
