Arsenal have sold young striker Kaylen Hinds to Wolfsburg in a deal worth around £2m, according to the Evening Standard.

The Premier League side, who finished fifth in the English top-flight standings, therefore missing out on qualification for the UEFA Champions League, have allowed the youngster to join the Bundesliga outfit on a three-year deal.

The 19-year-old, who is a former England Under-18 international, scored six goals and provided two assists in 18 appearances for Arsenal’s Under-23 side overall.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

However Hinds, who leaves the Emirates Stadium having failed to earn his first-team debut under manager Arsene Wenger, did enjoy a loan spell at League Two side Stevenage earlier this year – despite failing to find the back of the net in 12 outings.

Born in Brent, the forward turned professional with The Gunners in February 2015. However, the teenager has now opted to exit the North London outfit this summer, despite only agreeing a new contract with Arsenal back in January.
