Arsenal full back Saed Kolasinac puts pressure on boss Unai Emery to give Mesut Ozil more game time, when speaking to Premier League productions

Arsenal’s highest paid player Ozil has hardly featured for Arsenal this season, starting just one Premier League game and not even in the squad on numerous occasions.

The campaign did not get off to a great start for the Germany international, when he was involved in an attempted robbery with good friend and teammate Kolasinac.

Kolasinac is very good friends with teammate Ozil.

And it’s Kolasinac himself who has chosen to speak out about the situation when speaking to Premier League productions.

The full back said: “Mesut is a really driven player.

“He is a bit unhappy at the minute but you would never see that in his training. He is doing everything he can. He is doing extra sessions to make sure he is at the level he needs to be.

“For example, the opposing team might put two players on him rather than one – which creates a lot of space for others. That makes a real difference on the pitch and in the game.

“Everyone knows the quality he has, we have seen it. He is one of the top players in Europe and I think he can achieve a lot and really help the team further when he’s back.”
