It has been a torrid season for Arsenal fans, however, it looks as if their under-performing this time around has sparked plans for a summer overhaul at The Emirates.
Reports earlier this month suggested that the Gunners were set for a £200m overhaul of the playing squad, and now one of those to be brought in has emerged.
According to reports from CNN Turk, Arsene Wenger has been given the green light by Spanish giants Barcelona to land a £25m deal for Turkish midfielder, Arda Turan.
The 96-cap international, who has made over 50 appearances for the Catalan club, looks to be on his way out of the Nou Camp in the coming months as Barca carry out an overhaul of their own.
The former Atletico Madrid star can play in any role across the attacking midfield slots, and could be the added experience that the Gunners need to ensure they avoid drastic dips in form next season, as they have done for the last few years.
