Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Sunday when they travel to face Newcastle United at St. James’ Park.

The Gunners beat Port Vale 2-0 in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday, with talisman Bukayo Saka captaining his side after recently returning from an injury lay-off.

The England international is likely to start against the Magpies, but in the meantime it has emerged that the North London side are hoping to sign a Serie A star.

As per Spanish outlet Fichajes via GiveMeSport, Arsenal have been in talks about a possible deal for Juventus star Kenan Yildiz.

It is claimed that the Turkey international’s representatives have been in touch with the Gunners, to assess whether or not a move next year could be agreed.

Yildiz, 20, joined Juventus from German giants Bayern Munich in 2022 and has since progressed into the Turin side’s first team.

He has now played 89 times for the Old Lady across all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 15 assists.

It is claimed, though, that while Yildiz is seen as being at the centre of a new era at Juventus, Arsenal are keen to prise him away from Italy.

The Serie A giants are understandably keen to keep hold of the Turkish forward and have therefore set an asking price of up to £86 million for the player.

Yildiz is currently contracted to Juventus until the end of the 2028/29 season, but it appears that the club could face a battle to keep hold of the player beyond next summer.

Arsenal are said to be keen to add the player to Arteta’s squad during next summer’s transfer window, having spent heavily during the recent window.
