Arsenal have reportedly joined Manchester United in the race to sign Mexico international forward Hirving Lozano, according to sportskeeda.

The Premier League rivals, who defeated Swansea City and Tottenham Hotspur respectively in the top-flight at the weekend, have both been linked with a move for the highly rated PSV Eindhoven winger ahead of the January transfer market.

The 22-year-old, who has 19 international caps for his country, has impressively scored 10 goals and provided five assists in just 11 appearances in all competitions for the Eredivisie outfit so far this season.

Lozano, who joined PSV on a six-year contract back in June 2017 following his move from Mexican side Pachuca, represented his country at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The report suggests, that with fellow forward Alexis Sanchez destined to depart the Emirates Stadium by the end of the 2017-18 campaign, Arsenal are ready to battle United for Lozano’s signature as a potential replacement for the Chile international.

The left winger is understood to have a €34m release clause.
