Arsenal have reportedly been joined by Premier League rivals Tottenham and Liverpool in the race to sign £10million-rated Roma striker Umar Sadiq, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, via the Daily Star.

The Gunners were linked with a move for the 19-year-old forward, who has been compared to one of their former stars, Nwankwo Kanu, during the January transfer window, but no deal for the Nigerian materialised.

Now Spurs and Liverpool are also interested in the attacker, who has scored two goals in six Serie A appearances for the club from the Italian capital, as well as being prolific for their youth sides, netting 19 times in just 18 outings.

Sadiq is currently on loan at Roma from Serie B outfit, Spezia, but it is understood that a deal will be made permanent in the summer for around £2million, with the Italian giants then ready to sell the striker on for a profit.
