Arsenal are reportedly monitoring AS Monaco star Stephan El Shaarawy.

The Premier League side, who currently sit level on points with leaders Manchester City in the table following Saturday’s 2-1 win over Everton, are understood to be eyeing a move for the Italy forward towards the end of the season.

The 22-year-old, who has 15 international caps to his name, has scored two goals in 14 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this term.

El Shaarawy only joined Monaco on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy, from AC Milan back in July, where the Italian has seemingly become surplus to requirements at the San Siro after four years with the club.
