Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will hope to see his side end their poor run of form when they face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The Gunners have picked up just two points from their last four Premier League games, and therefore find themselves nine points adrift of leaders Liverpool after 11 matches.

The Spaniard will be desperate to see his side return to winning ways at The Emirates on Saturday, but Forest have enjoyed a flying start to the season and will undoubtedly provide a stern test for Arsenal.

Arteta could look to bring in new signings in January in an effort to bridge the gap between his side and Liverpool, and it appears that the Gunners are keeping tabs on a Real Madrid star.

As per TBR Football, the North London outfit are monitoring Real Madrid winger Brahim Diaz.

The report claims that the 25-year-old is unhappy with his current playing time, and Arsenal are therefore keeping an eye on his situation with a view to potentially making a move for the player at some point.

Diaz is said to be unhappy with his current playing time at Real Madrid

Diaz joined Real Madrid from Manchester City back in 2019, when City boss Pep Guardiola allowed him to depart.

He has since spent time on loan at Italian club AC Milan and played more than 20 times for the club, but he has made just 74 appearances for Real across all competitions.

With that in mind, the report claims that the Morocco international is concerned by his current situation and could look to push for a move away from Madrid when the transfer window reopens in January.

Diaz is contracted to the Spanish and European champions until 2027, but he may continue to struggle to establish himself as a regular starter in Carlo Ancelotti’s side with the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe all vying for attacking positions.
