Arsenal make dramatic late swoop for Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey on deadline day, according to Goal. 

The Gunners have made a solid start to their 2020/21 campaign, putting in a very solid performance in their victory over Sheffield United at the weekend.

Under Mikel Arteta the North Londoners are starting to look a lot more assured in both their attacking and defensive duties and could push for a top four finish and maybe higher.

Arteta is well liked at the Emirates.

After securing Willian, Gabriel and retaining star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, it’s been a positive window for Arsenal, but on deadline day it could well improve again.

Goal have reported that Arteta is looking to make a late swoop for Atletico midfielder, Thomas Partey a player they have been linked with throughout the summer.

If the Ghanaian was to join the ranks at the Emirates, it would make for a fantastic window for the Gunners and certainly a squad to achieve things this season.
