Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign France international defender Layvin Kurzawa this summer, according to RMC Sport.

The Premier League side, who suffered a 3-1 defeat to the hands of Leicester City on Wednesday night, have been linked with luring the Paris Saint-Germain full-back to the Emirates Stadium at the end of the current 2017-18 campaign.

The 25-year-old, who has 11 international caps for his country, has scored five goals and provided four assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 champions this season.

Kurzawa, who joined PSG back in August 2015 following his €23m switch from French rivals AS Monaco, has netted 11 goals in 79 games overall for the club.

However, the left-back has dropped down the pecking order in the French capital following the rise of Yuri Berchiche, and is understood to be available for transfer this summer at around €25m, which is just under £22m.

The report (via the Metro) suggests The Gunners have contacted the defender’s representatives to establish whether he would be interested in a move to the Premier League club, despite legendary manager Arsene Wenger departing at the end of this season.

Rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are also thought to be interested in the full-back’s services.
