Chelsea progressed to the last four of the Europa Conference League despite a 2-1 defeat against Legia Warsaw on Thursday night.

The Blues had cruised to a 3-0 first leg lead in Poland last week, but fell behind early on at Stamford Bridge when Tomas Pekhart converted a penalty.

The hosts then drew level through left-back Marc Cucurella, before the visitors restored their advantage on the night courtesy of Steve Kapaudi.

Chelsea progress to face Swedish side Djurgarden in the semi-finals of the competition despite their defeat, however the result will only have increased the pressure on head coach Enzo Maresca.

Sections of the Stamford Bridge crowd were visibly frustrated at yet another sub-par performance from the Blues, who are at serious risk of failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League.

In the meantime, it has emerged that the London side are one of a number of Premier League clubs interested in a Ligue 1 star.

Dembele is enjoying his most prolific season to date

According to CaughtOffside, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are all showing interest in Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele.

The 27-year-old – once the second most expensive player of all time – joined PSG from Barcelona in 2023 and is enjoying a sensational season in France.

In total he has scored 32 goals and provided eight assists in 42 matches for Luis Enrique’s side, including a combined ten goals and assists in the Champions League alone.

The report claims that, while all four Premier League sides mentioned are interested in the France international, it is Arsenal who are currently mos likely to make an audacious move for the winger.

Dembele’s current contract with PSG is set to run until the end of the 2027/28 campaign, however the report claims that the French champions are keen to agree a new long-term deal with the player.

Arsenal will get the chance to see the Frenchman in action when they face PSG over two legs in the semi-finals of the Champions League in the coming weeks.
