Arsenal must snap up these 2 Bundesliga stars in January

Arsenal are looking to end a 12-year wait for the Premier League title by going one better than their second place finish in the league last season.

Arsene Wenger’s side never really threatened champions Leicester last season, but pipped North London rivals Tottenham to second place on the last day of the campaign.

Optimism was building around the Emirates prior to this year’s campaign, and the Gunners squad have duly delivered a solid start to the season.

Wenger’s men are fourth in the Premier League having won seven of their opening 12 league games, which included an impressive 3-0 win over leaders Chelsea back in September.

They are unbeaten in all competitions dating back to their opening weekend defeat to Liverpool, and are already into the last 16 of the Champions League, having won three and drawn the other of their four games.

However, a below par display against Manchester United last weekend has once again doubted their title credentials, with many believing that they need more reinforcements to sustain a challenge at the top.
