Premier League title-chasing Arsenal travel north to face struggling Sheffield United on Monday evening.

The Gunners have been in fine form domestically of late, winning their last six league games and scoring 25 goals in the process.

Manager Mikel Arteta will be keen to ensure his side beat the Blades to remain in the hunt for the Premier League title, having finished as runners-up last season.

In the meantime, it has emerged that the North London club are not interested in a Chelsea star, despite recent rumours suggesting otherwise.

According to Dean Jones, Arsenal have no interest in Chelsea winger Mykhaylo Mudryk, despite being linked with him in recent days.

Mudryk has struggled since joining Chelsea last year

Arsenal were close to signing the Ukraine international in January last year, before the Blues hijacked the move late on and secured his signature.

The 23-year-old has endured a frustrating time in the capital since his his £62 million move, scoring just five times in 44 games across all competitions, as well as registering five assists.

The Ukrainian has struggled to establish himself as a regular under Graham Potter, Frank Lampard and Mauricio Pochettino, but Jones claims that he is fully committed to the Blues at present.

He claims that Mudryk is focussed solely on turning his fortunes around at Stamford Bridge, and he will have been boosted by scoring in Chelsea’s FA Cup fifth round win over Leeds United on Wednesday.

It had been claimed that Arsenal were set to reignite their interest in the forward as Arteta looks to bolster his squad during the upcoming summer transfer window, but it appears extremely unlikely that he will depart Stamford Bridge any time soon.
