Name: Grzegorz Krychowiak

Position: Midfielder

Club: Sevilla

In a bid to win their first Premier League title in 12 years; Arsenal are set to prioritise any January transfer business on signing a new midfielder to ease their injury woes heading into the second-half of the campaign.

One specific player who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium this month is Sevilla star Grzegorz Krychowiak.

With the likes of Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta and Tomas Rosicky all currently out injured, Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has reportedly been keeping close tabs on the Poland international throughout this term in case of needing any reinforcement in the New Year.

The 25-year-old; who has 30 international caps to his name, has made 24 appearances in all competitions for the La Liga outfit so far this season, who currently sit ninth in the Spanish top-flight after 18 games.

Krychowiak, who is thought to be rated at about £33m this month, only joined Sevilla back in July 2014 for a bargain fee of around €4.5 million from French club Stade de Reims.

Other than transfer target Krychowiak; Arsenal are also poised to complete the signing of fellow midfielder Mohamed Elneny from FC Basel in a deal worth £7m.
