Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Italy Under-21 international Daniele Rugani.

The Premier League outfit, who sit level on points with Manchester City at the top of the table, are scouting the Juventus defender closely ahead of the forthcoming January transfer window.

The 21-year-old, who is yet to earn his senior international debut, has struggled to get into the starting eleven at the Serie A champions this season, playing just two minutes of football overall this term.

Currently behind fellow centre-halves Giorgio Chiellini, Andrea Barzagli and Leonardo Bonucci at the Juventus Stadium; Rugani has been linked with a move away from the Italian giants, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger ready to pounce with a £13m bid in January.

However it is also understood that Serie A rivals Napoli are also interested in the youngster’s services in the New Year.
