Arsenal are reportedly interested in snapping up highly-rated England youth international Rolando Aarons this summer, according to The Mirror.

The Premier League title contenders, who suffered a damaging 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday to the hands of Manchester United, are ready to recruit the exciting winger should he leave struggling Newcastle United at the end of the 2015/16 campaign.

The 20-year-old; who is an England Under-20 international, has made just eight first-team appearances for the Magpies so far this season, starting just three league games under current head coach Steve McClaren.

Aarons, who has played for the St James’ Park outfit since 2012 after leaving Bristol City earlier on in his youth career, could leave the English top-flight club this summer having failed to agree a new contract.

However the report goes on further to suggest that Serie A sides AC Milan and Juventus could also be interested in signing Aarons, who has scored two goals in 14 first-team appearances for Newcastle since making his debut back in August 2014.
