Arsenal are keen to open talks with their sought after right-back, Hector Bellerin, in order to tie him down to a longer contract amid growing interest from European giants.

Reports in The Mirror claim that the Gunners hierarchy have made contact with the representatives of the Spaniard and are keen to open talks over a new five-year-deal, one the 21-year-old has returned from international duty.

The former Barcelona academy player, who made the move to North London in 2013, has been linked with a move back to the Catalan giants, whilst former Barca boss, Pep Guardiola, has been credited with interest in bringing the Spain international to Man City.

The right-back, who still has three years remaining on his current deal, has grown into one of the best in the game and, being desperate to hold onto their man, Wenger and the powers that be at The Emirates are reportedly prepared to offer him a significant pay rise in order to retain his services.
