Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Italy international Lorenzo Insigne and Algeria international Faouzi Ghoulam, according to The Sun.

The Premier League side, who have dropped to fourth in the top-flight standings after not playing at the weekend due to the 2017 EFL Cup final at Wembley Stadium, have been linked with a summer swoop for the Napoli duo.

Winger Insigne, 25, who has 13 international caps for the Azzurri, has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 34 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A outfit so far this season.

Meanwhile left-back Ghoulam, 26, has provided seven assists in 27 games this term.

The report suggests The Gunners have been scouting the wide players and watched Insigne and Ghoulam during Saturday’s 2-0 shock defeat to Atalanta.

Forward Insigne has been one of Serie A’s star players this campaign, meaning Napoli will be reluctant to lose the Italian, although an offer of over £44m could tempt them.

Meanwhile Premier League rivals Chelsea have also been linked with defender Ghoulam.
