Arsenal continue their pursuit of the Premier League title when they face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The Gunners currently top of the table but sit just a point ahead of Manchester City, who also have a game-in-hand over Mikel Arteta’s side.

Having finished as runners-up behind the Citizens last term, Arteta will be desperate to see his side come out on top this season, but City will once again retain the title if they win their final three games.

In the meantime, it appears that Arsenal have named their price for one of their fringe players.

As per 90min, the North London side will look for a fee in the region of £30-35 million to part ways with forward Eddie Nketiah this summer.

The Englishman, 24, is a product of the Gunners’ youth academy and has made a total of 168 appearances across all competitions for the club, scoring 38 goals and providing seven assists.

Nketiah could depart Arsenal this summer

He has failed to ever establish himself as the first choice striker at the club, though, and the report claims that Arsenal will therefore consider selling the Englishman this summer.

The former Leeds United loanee has played 37 times this season in total, but he has only started ten Premier League games and remains behind both Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz in the pecking order of Arteta’s striking options.

Nketiah’s current contract with the Gunners is set to run until the end of the 2026/27 season, but it appears that he could leave The Emirates prior to that date if a suitable offer is received.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Newcastle United star Alexander Isak as Arteta looks to bolster his attacking options, but they may have to sell players first and Nketiah could therefore make way to free up squad space and raise funds.
