Arsenal set to make move to sign midfielder Morgan Sanson

Arsenal have reportedly approached Marseille over potentially signing midfielder Morgan Sanson, according to reports.

Mikel Arteta seems to be taking the Gunners in the right direction, winning the FA Cup less than eight months after taking charge.

However, after an eighth-placed finish in the Premier League, the Spaniard will be looking to bolster his squad ahead of the next campaign.

And, according to reports from Le 10 Sport, Arsenal have targeted Sanson as a possible signing.

It’s claimed that Marseille may have to sell their all-action midfielder as they are struggling financially.

But despite those suggestions, French publication Le Phoceen report that the 25-year-old, whose contract runs until 2022, would still cost around £32 million.

Sanson has scored 23 goals in 138 matches for the Ligue 1 side after signing from Montpellier in 2016.
