Arsenal remain top of the Premier League table with just two Premier League matches remaining.

The Gunners sit a single point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City, but the Citizens do have a game-in-hand over Mikel Arteta’s side and will win the title if they win their remaining three matches.

After finishing second behind City last season, Arteta will be desperate to go one better this term but the Spaniard may once again fell jut short of doing so.

Those in charge of Arsenal’s recruitment will be plotting ahead for the upcoming summer transfer window, but it appears that an England international is set to leave the club this summer.

According to Football Insider, goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale will leave The Emirates this summer after falling out of favour in North London.

Ramsdale has fallen out of favour at Arsenal this season

Ramsdale, 25, joined the Gunners from Sheffield United in 2021 and acted as Arteta’s first choice ‘keeper for more than two years, before the arrival of David Raya on loan from Brentford last summer.

The Spaniard has replaced Ramsdale as first choice, and the report claims that the England international is now likely to leave Arsenal this summer with an agreement in place to make Raya’s switch permanent.

The Englishman has been linked with both Chelsea and Newcastle United recent months, but it remains to be seen where he will be playing next season.

Despite featuring just six times in the Premier League so far this term, Ramsdale looks almost certain to be included in the England squad for Euro 2024 in Germany this summer.

The goalkeeper’s contract is set to run until the end of the 2025/26 season, but it appears almost certain that he will depart The Emirates prior to that date.
