Arsenal have reportedly stepped up their interest in signing France international star Nabil Fekir, according to The Sun.
The Premier League side, who host Burnley at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday (16:30), have been continuously linked with a move for the highly regarded Lyon midfielder this campaign.
The 24-year-old, who has 10 international caps for his country, has scored 22 goals and provided seven assists in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Fekir, who is a youth graduate of the French side, has netted 56 goals in 150 senior games for the club overall.
The report claims The Gunners are eager to lure the attacking midfielder to the Emirates Stadium this summer, despite the departure of legendary manager Arsene Wenger at the end of the current 2017-18 campaign.
Arsenal scouts checked on the Frenchman on April 20, during Lyon’s 5-2 victory at Dijon, with Fekir finding the back of the net once.
Fekir is under contract until June 2020, and is valued at £50m.
