Arsenal will hope to keep alive their slim Premier League title hopes when they face Wolves at Molineux on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s side have won just one of their last three matches in the competition, drawing twice, and now find themselves six points behind league leaders Liverpool who also boast a game-in-hand.

The Gunners will once again be without key player Bukayo Saka, who has been absent since suffering a hamstring injury in December.

Now, though, it appears that the North London outfit are chasing a Premier League winger to fill in for Saka whilst he is sidelined.

As per CaughtOffside, Arsenal have identified Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as their primary target to replace the injured Saka.

It is claimed that the Gunners are also interested in Wolves star Matheus Cunha, but Semenyo is top of their list of targets as an alternative to the Englishman.

Semenyo has attracted interest from Arsenal

Semenyo, 25, has been in fine form for the Cherries so far this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 21 Premier League matches.

The Ghana international is contracted to Bournemouth until 2029, but the report suggests that he is open to the idea of leaving the south coast club in search of a new challenge.

Semenyo joined the Cherries from Bristol City in 2023 and has since made a total of 70 appearances for the club across all competitions.

Bournemouth are said to be reluctant to allow the Ghanaian to depart this month and have valued him at £50 million.

Arsenal’s Premier League title rivals Liverpool are also said to be interested in the winger, who can play on either flank.

The Reds are said to have tabled the idea of a swap deal involving youngster Ben Doak, but the Cherries are not interested in the idea.

Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are also said to be keeping tabs on the winger, who has played 65 times in the Premier League.
