Arsenal will be handed the opportunity to sign three players from Atletico Madrid as part of an exchange deal for Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.

The Frenchman won the Gunners’ Player of the Year award in 2018/19 but – due to the emergence of Eddie Nketiah – has found himself in and out the side under Mikel Arteta.

Despite playing a key role in helping the North London side win their 14th FA Cup, Marca report that he could be on the move with Atletico Madrid prepared to pitch a player plus cash to land the 29-year-old.

It’s claimed that the La Liga side outfit will offer money and any of Thomas Lemar, Angel Correa or Vitolo.

Lemar played 29 times for Atleti last term.

Lemar, 24, was signed from Monaco in July 2018 but has failed to discover the form he did in France, failing to score or assist a single goal in 2019/20.

Elsewhere, Correa, 25, hit the back of the net seven times last term, while Vitolo, 30, found it three times.

It’s reported that Arsenal knocked back the offer in January and, with Lacazette’s current deal running until 2022, they are not under pressure to cash in.

Since signing for a then club-record fee of £46.5million from Lyon in 2017, the 16 time-France international has scored 48 times in 127 matches for the Gunners.
