Arsenal have started the season strongly so far, winning five of their Premier League matches and also securing three points in their first Europa League group stage game.

The Gunners triumphed over Crystal Palace, Leicester City, Bournemouth, Fulham and Aston Villa prior to a defeat at Old Trafford against Manchester United ten days ago.

Mikel Arteta’s side have been in fine form, with new signings Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko among a number of players to have started the season superbly.

The Spaniard also has a number of young stars playing regularly for his side, and it appears that those in charge of the club are keen to ensure that continues.

As per 90min, Arsenal are hoping to tie up new contracts for three players as soon as possible.

The report claims that those in charge of the club will soon look to tie up deals with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba.

Martinelli has scored three goals so far this season

All three players’ current contracts are due to expire in the summer of 2024, but the club are hoping to tie the trio down to long term deals, the report says.

It is claimed that Arteta sees all three players, all of whom are aged 21, as huge parts of his plans for the club.

Saka recently revealed that he is confident of reaching an agreement, and 90min claims that talks have been progressing positively.

The England international has started all of Arsenal’s league matches so far this season, and has now made more than 130 appearances for The Gunners since making his debut in 2019.

Saliba, meanwhile, made his debut for the club on the opening day of the season against Crystal Palace, despite signing for Arsenal back in 2019.

The Frenchman has spent the last two seasons on loan at Nice and Marseille, and has impressed since being thrown into Arteta’s first team, helping his side to keep clean sheets against both Palace and Bournemouth.

Martinelli is another player that has been in superb form during the early weeks of the season, scoring in the opening day win over The Eagles and also netting against Leicester and Aston Villa.

The Brazilian’s deal includes an option to extend, but Arsenal would rather tie the player down to a new, longer term contract.

It also says in the report that director of football Edu is happy with how talks are progressing on all three fronts, and that the former player is confident that the trio will all sign new deals.
