Arsenal to move for £33m-rated defensive midfielder

Arsenal are reportedly set to make a move for Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for the Poland international over the past 12 months and they are now thought to be prepared to meet the 25-year-old’s £33m valuation.

With Francis Coquelin, Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Tomas Rosicky all sidelined, boss Arsene Wenger is looking to add some steel to the middle of the park.

Krychowiak helped the Spanish side win the Europa League last term and has made 23 appearances in all competitions this season.
