Arsenal will reportedly make another move to sign Brazil Under-23 international forward Malcom in the summer, according to the London Evening Standard.
The Premier League side, who suffered a shock 3-1 defeat at lowly Swansea City on Tuesday night, were heavily linked with luring the Bordeaux winger to the Emirates Stadium before the close of the January transfer window on Wednesday night.
The 20-year-old, who has featured twice for Brazil’s Under-23 side, has scored eight goals and provided six assists in 25 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit so far this season.
Malcom, who joined the French side from Corinthians back in January 2016, has netted 19 goals in 83 games overall for the club.
Despite signing striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in a club-record deal from Borussia Dortmund earlier this week, as well as bringing in midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan from rivals Manchester United last month, The Gunners will look to revisit a deal to sign Samba star Malcom before the 2018-19 campaign, claims the report.
The right winger is valued at £27m, by transfermarkt.
