The futures of Arsenal star duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are still up in the air, but it seems the club have made their stance very clear.
According to reports from the Express, the powers that be at The Emirates have told the star men that they will not be caving to their demands of £250k-a-week.
Both men, whose contracts run out at the end of next season, started the season in scintilating form. However, whilst Sanchez has maintained his excellent streak and continued to attract interest from across Europe, Ozil’s form has fallen somewhat.
The former Real Madrid man has felt the wrath of the Gunners support at times, having been accused of being lazy when things aren’t going the way of Arsene Wenger’s side.
Both players are key to the club should they want to realise the fans dreams of once again being top of the pile, both at home and abroad, but they continue to demand parity with the top earners in the Premier League.
