Arsenal will hope to maintain their lead at the top of the Premier League table when they face Bournemouth on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit a single point ahead of reigning champions Manchester City, although the Citizens do have a game-in-hand over Arsenal.

The race for the title looks set to go right down to the wire, and Arteta will be desperate to go one better than last year when they finished as runners-up to City.

Off the pitch, though, it is being reported that the North London club could be prepared to sell one of their key players.

As per The Athletic, Arsenal would be willing to listen to offers for forward Gabriel Jesus this summer.

The Brazilian forward joined Arsenal from Man City in 2022, having won four Premier League titles in Manchester.

Jesus could leave The Emirates this summer

He initially played a crucial role for Arteta’s side, and was instrumental in helping the Gunners to a second-placed finish last term.

In total the Brazil international has made 66 appearances for Arsenal across all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 14 assists.

Recently, though, the forward has fallen out of favour under Arteta, with Kai Havertz often preferred.

He has started just four of Arsenal’s last 13 Premier League games, in part due to injury and also as a result of the tremendous form of his German teammate.

His versatility has been helpful to Arteta, though, with the 27-year-old able to operate out wide as well as in his more natural central position.

Jesus’ contract with the Gunners isn’t set to expire until the end of the 2026/27 season, but the report claims that the North London club could listen to appropriate offers if they are received during the upcoming transfer window.
