Arsene Wenger is looking to end a 12-year wait for the Premier League title this season, and his side have started with the suggestion that they could do just that.

The Gunners have won seven of their opening 11 league games, and find themselves fourth in the table, just two points adrift of leaders Liverpool.

Wenger’s side though are one of the form teams in Europe, having gone unbeaten in 15 matches dating back to that thrilling 4-3 defeat at home to Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool on the opening day of the campaign.

Arsenal have also qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League with three wins and a draw from their opening four games, and will host Paris Saint-Germain in a few weeks time which will likely decide who tops Group A.

However, there will be a bit of disappointment that the Gunners couldn’t go top of the Premier League last weekend, as they were unable to get the better of North London rivals Tottenham at the Emirates, although a 1-1 draw did preserve their unbeaten run.

Nevertheless, Arsenal’s decent start has had many speculating about whether Wenger can finally win the Premier League again after 12 years, and here we have identified their best XI from the opening 11 league games…
