Santi Cazorla’s influence on this Arsenal team cannot be understated.

The Spanish international has been a revelation since his move to England in 2012, and has regularly been in the top two or three of the assists’ charts at the club in the last four years.

However, they certainly missed his input against Tottenham last week, with Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama able to control the midfield area at times on Sunday.

Although not as strong as the other options at the Emirates, technically Cazorla is better than any of them. He keeps the ball moving and has an incredible eye for a pass, and would work well alongside the stronger Granit Xhaka or Francis Coquelin in the midfield.
