England international Theo Walcott has impressed in the first few months of the season, even more so given he was left out of the Three Lions’ Euro 2016 squad in the summer.

The 27-year-old has netted eight goals in 15 games for the Gunners so far, and is playing with the confidence that makes him a difficult winger to defend against.

With Alexis Sanchez playing more centrally, Walcott has been given the chance to shine down the right-hand-side, and he has used his pace to great effect thus far.

However, he has also shown composure throughout the season, which is something that has been lacking in the past.

A slight injury a few weeks ago would have concerned Arsenal fans, but he started the North London derby on Sunday, and could remain an important player for the Gunners this season.
