Arsenal’s highest paid player Mesut Ozil could make a move to the MLS due to lack of playing time for the Gunners, according to Bleacher Report

The German World Cup winner is enduring a terrible time in North London this season, starting just one Premier League game and making the bench just twice.

Considering the 31-year-old is the highest paid player at the club, and was such a high performer for the Gunners when he first arrived in 2013, it’s simply a disastrous season so far for the German.

Unai Emery has only handed the German international one start this season.

It is likely Arsenal will look to ‘cash-in’ for the playmaker whilst he is still in contract, to try and claw back some of the £42million they paid for their number 10.

However, the Bleacher Report suggest Ozil will not be handing in a transfer market anytime soon, in hope that he can make it back in to manager Unai Emery’s plans.

But if Ozil is to move on, then the Bleach Report think the MLS will be the most likely destination.
