Arsenal are hoping to sell at least seven of their first team players as they look to raise funds for further spending this summer.

The Gunners have already spent upwards of £80 million on players including former Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus, but Mikel Arteta is keen to add further reinforcements to his squad.

As per The Sun, Arteta is willing to let club record signing Nicolas Pepe leave this summer, with the Ivorian having struggled since his arrival in the capital in 2019.

The 27-year-old has scored just 16 goals and provided just nine assists in 80 Premier League matches, and started just five league games last term.

Midfielder Lucas Torreira and full-back Hector Bellerin are both also believed to be available for sale, having spent last season on loan at Fiorentina and Real Betis respectively.

Second-choice goalkeeper Bernd Leno is another name mentioned, having fallen behind Aaron Ramsdale as the club’s starting ‘keeper.

The German made just eight appearances last season, and didn’t play in the Premier League after August.

Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles could also both be on their way out of The Emirates.

The duo both spent time out on loan last season, and their futures at Arsenal don’t look overly promising at present.

Pablo Mari has also been on loan and is expected to leave the club in the coming weeks.
