Somehow the club’s fortune took another turn for the worse when academy graduate, now Arsenal first team player Ashley Maitland-Niles announced his frustration to his Instagram followers.

Rafa Benitez is reportedly keen to bring Maitland-Niles to Everton.

Posting on his story the right back stated: “All I wanted to do is go where I’m wanted.” Which was immediately picked up and shared, reaching the wider football audience.

Now 24-years-old, Mailtand-Niles has been on loan to both Ipswich Town and West Bromwich Albion and has been in and out the Arsenal starting line-up in recent times.
